Welcome to "beekeepingcourse" The website for our introductory courses held annually in Worcestershire. We started these courses ten years ago in response to requests from people who wanted a compact introduction to the world of beekeeping. We accept a maximum of 16 people due to the practical limitations of giving adequate supervision of the bee handling sessions. We are usually oversubscribed. Most participants go on to take up the craft and quite a few are actively involved in local beekeeping branches. We currently offer two courses.
1. Ten week winter evening course starting mid-January ( our main course which prepares you for a start in Spring) 2. Five daytime practicals through the season (assisting with practical beekeeping tasks ) Join us and learn the essentials of this fascinating and rewarding hobby. We also offer talks and demonstrations on beekeeping and horticultural topics throughout the midlands.
